School Radio conducted a series of Workshops at ‘Campus Challenge’. The students have developed Radio Programs on the following topics.

The orientation workshop on School Radio was organized at Campus Challenge, Vizianagaram Dt on 9th December 2019. Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS), a Government of Andhra Pradesh initiative and Smt.Madhavi Medi are supporting School Radio at Campus Challenge. Campus Challenge is the first regional community for differently-abled children and youth in coastal Andhra Pradesh. It is a home for 120 children with visually impaired, hearing impaired, physically challenged and intellectually challenged disabilities.  

School Radio Workshop was organized at ‘Campus Challenge’ on 6th January 2020. The students have decided to develop scripts on the themes that they have selected after brainstorming. A 2-day workshop was held on 3, 4 February 2020 in which the students wrote the scripts, edited them and also the episodes were recorded.

Books in Braille

School Radio is in the process of developing 3 books in Braille language. ‘Cheema Cheema Yenduku Kuttavu ‘ and ‘You Talk The World Listens’.

Campus Challenge - Regional care centre for children and youth with disabilities 

Campus Challenge is the first regional community for differently abled children and youth in coastal Andhra Pradesh. It is a home for 120 children with visually impaired, hearing impaired, physically challenged and intellectually challenged disabilities. The campus is built in 5 acres of land with the support of ‘Friends Indeed’, an NGO from Netherlands. Association Saikorian, an association of the alumni of Sainik School, Korukonda runs this centre.
